Privacy notice
This page is an English translation of the German privacy notice, the Datenschutzerklärung. In case of doubt, the German version applies. This site is a waitlist. What there is to say about the processing of your data is correspondingly brief.

What this site does not do
This site sets no cookies. It embeds no analytics, advertising or tracking services, no social media plugins and no external fonts or scripts. There is no user account and no profiling.
This also removes the need for a consent banner: there is nothing that would require consent except the sign-up for the waitlist, and that happens explicitly.
Waitlist
Anyone who signs up for the waitlist gives us an e-mail address so that we can write to them when Authiane launches. Only the following is stored:
- the e-mail address
- the confirmation that consent was given, and the time of that consent
- the origin of the sign-up, that is, through which form and in which language it was made
- the time of the sign-up and of the last change
An IP address is neither stored in the process nor linked to the entry.
The legal basis is consent under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is voluntary; without it, signing up is not possible, but no disadvantage arises either.
Consent can be revoked at any time with effect for the future, informally by writing to info@ddm-it.de. After the revocation we delete the entry. Once the purpose no longer applies because the launch notification has been sent, we delete the waitlist.
The data is not passed on to third parties, not sold and not used for advertising beyond the launch notification.
Protection against automated sign-ups
The form contains a field that is invisible to people and is only filled in by automated scripts. If it is filled in, we discard the request without storing anything. Neither a puzzle nor a third-party service is used for this.
Processing on our behalf
This website and the waitlist database are operated on Microsoft Azure servers in the North Europe region (Ireland), that is, within the European Union.
Server log files
When this site is accessed, log data is generated for technical reasons, for example the IP address, time, requested file, browser and operating system. This data serves secure and stable operation and the defence against attacks. The legal basis is legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) GDPR. It is not combined with the waitlist data.
Your rights
You have the following rights at any time:
- access to the data stored about you (Article 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Article 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Article 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Article 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Article 20 GDPR)
- objection to the processing (Article 21 GDPR)
- withdrawal of consent given, with effect for the future (Article 7(3) GDPR)
An informal message to info@ddm-it.de is sufficient for all of these requests.
Right to lodge a complaint
Anyone who believes that the processing infringes data protection law can lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. The authority responsible for us is:
